At this moment we are looking for a full time instructor for the summermonths 2013!
Windsurfing Curacao is the only windsurfing school on the island. Weekly we teach about 120 local kids in a unqiue program. The lessons are setup as soccer or tennis practice. Kids are grouped by their abilities and age and have their own instructor and training day. We also teach a lot of tourists and locals windsurfing. Our clients usualy take a lessons package. After this package, they can windsurf (stay upwind, rigging, beach start, tack, jibe etc..)
Apart from the windsurfing we do StandUp Paddle tours and SUP fitness.
Activities:
- Teaching kids&adults in groups from 1 to 6 persons.
- Equipment rentals
- Equipment maintanance
- Planning
- Promotional activities
- SUP tours
Work conditions:
- Minimum period to work is six months
- Windsurfing Curacao is open 7 days a week from 10am until 5.30pm
- An instructor works one week 5 days, the other week 6.
- Vacation days: 1.25 days per month
- We offer a good a salary
Housing:
Between the amount of ANG 500, - or ANG 600 you can rent a room in Curacao. We will assist/help with finding a room. Most instructors rent a room close to the windsurfing school at a friend of ours.
Wind conditions:
The wind conditions are very good. The windy season is from December until August. For more information about the wind you can check the archive of windguru.
The windsurfing school is located on an inner flat water lake and a great place to upgrade your freestyle and freeride skills. Very close you can windsurf on the ocean. Curacao has a lot of different spots to sail.
