Windsurfing Curacao maintains the database for CUR sailnumbers. We try to make sure that sailnumbers are still being used and competitors don't use the same sailnumber for different persons.
The CUR sailnumber is not an recognized sailnumber, because Curacao is not a recognized country.
However in most international competitions it is accepted.
The official sailnumber prefix for the Netherlands Antilles (and therefore Curacao, Bonaire, Saba, St Maarten and Stacia) is AHO.
For most competitions, being local or international a sailnumber is mandatory.
The steps for registering a CUR number is as following:
- Register yourself as a windsurfer
- Fill in your email address below
- Choose a sailnumber which is available
Registration for CUR sailnumbers is free and done on a first come first serve basis. We hold the right to deregister a sailnumber if the sailor with that number is not competing or using that number in competitions.
