Ghostfactory only works when the wind has been strong for a couple of days in a row. A good indication that it on is when you see big rolling swell on the ocean. Ghostfactory works on windswell and conditions can be good enough and gone in a couple of hours or stay on for a week.
It's definitely not a beginner spot. The rocks controlling access to the water contain sea urchins and the waves can produce a strong current sweeping you downwind to even more unforgiving rocks.
If going in is a problem for you, then don't because getting out is even worse.
But if it's on, it might be easier to go in and out from the Holiday Beach side then to go head on.
